Wolfgang Heidug is an expert in low-carbon energy technology policy with an in-depth knowledge of the science and technology of CO2 capture and storage. Wolfgang has been one the Lead Authors of the IPCC Special Report on CCS. Prior to joining KAPSARC, he was a senior adviser at the International Energy Agency (IEA) in Paris. Wolfgang has more than 20 years’ experience working with Shell International, where he worked as the General Manager of CO2 policy. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from Brown University in the United States, an M.Sc. in Physics from Berlin Technical University and a degree in Economics from Hagen University, Germany.
